Deep Voodoo, the professional deepfake studio for creators founded by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, has raised $20 million to continue its development.
The business was founded during the 2020 media blackout, when the epidemic prevented the majority of travel and on-set filming. When COVID got involved, Parker and Stone had already started putting together a team of AI artists for a movie they were developing, and they instead concentrated on designing the tools that would be utilized later.
