Heartex, a well-funded machine learning data labeling startup, today announced the release of a significant update to its platform. This update will enable users of both its commercial and open source versions of Label Studio to annotate audio files much more easily, expanding the potential applications for its tools. Included in these upgrades are a new user interface designed specifically for usage with audio files, the ability to annotate lengthier files (those lasting up to two hours), and millisecond controls for the built-in annotation tool. Additionally, a new rendering engine for showing waveforms has been developed. Heartex previously updated its product to include elements like frame-by-frame video object tracking and a completely new user interface for annotations.
The business estimates that 150,000 people currently rely on Label.
